Finally after such a very long time I am returning to art. I believe it has been a year in the least since I’ve worked on anything, and to be quite honest I’ve really never done anything more than sketching. True enough I am a horrible artist but by all means I still love it and would hate to be rid of it completely. For now I am going to work on drawings simply with no concern of practicing for the sake of practice alone. However I do intend that to change.

And more so, I hope that practice may expand beyond the monochromatic range, not so keen on digital for now, though I have a tablet and so the possibility is wide open.

As for my actual work. Previously I would do nothing more than sketch, no exceptions to that. However from here on out I will attempt to refrain from submitting sketches (Although deviantART has a sketch section does it not? Yes, I am previously from SheezyArt, something of which I think has become far too immature.) in hopes to focus on more complete works. Previously I would consider myself more of an illustrator (if I’m using the term right) of sorts and would just draw characters. I am considering studying other forms of art such as surrealism, pop, and fantasy art (not considered a “fine” art, but then again I’m not a “fine” artist!).

Speaking of accounts, there are two things to make mention. Firstly I may consider moving away from this account and create a new one, reason being? I am so incredibly tired of the screen name “Asigiri”. That said I may just say “forget it” and stick to what I’m familiar with. Secondly, I have a SheezyArt account, I am keeping it open and will continue to have it active, but like I said before I do consider SheezyArt to have become a bit too immature. No way am I shunning the site altogether, there are some awesome people on my watch list that are not devaitantART members. Really I feel SheezyArt is too immature and deviantART thinks too highly of themselves! So I think it balances out well enough.

I believe that’s enough for now though. Hopefully soon I will be back with some actual work to upload, and after that I hope to continue doing so.
